VIETNAM ANIMAL AID AND RESCUE
VAAR is a vegan animal rights organization that has a rescue shelter and farm sanctuary in Hoi An. They are part of a growing non-speciesist global animal rights movement that works to protect all sentient beings. Their rescued animals live on the shelter and farm sanctuary property in Hoi An where VAAR’s education programs also take place.
These programs include education, grassroots activism, vegan advocacy, animal rescue, monitoring and campaigning against the cat and dog meat trade, as well that involving wildlife.

LIFESTART FOUNDATION
Lifestart Foundation is a grassroots, not-for-profit charity that helps disadvantaged Vietnamese people and their families to become self-sufficient. KIANH FOUNDATION
Kianh Foundation works in Dien Ban, Central Vietnam, which has one of the highest levels of disability in the country. It runs a day centre for children in the district that provides special education, physiotherapy, life-skills training and basic healthcare. One of the main aims of the centre is to prevent children with disability being placed into institutional care because of a lack of services and support.

CHILDREN’S HOPE IN ACTION
Children’s Hope in Action is a non-government organisation providing a wide range of services for disadvantaged children in central Vietnam. Based in Hoi An, they provide a range of services for children in the wider Quang Nam province where many families are barely surviving on less than three dollars per day.
