Virlanie Foundation is a private, non-profit organization reaching out to street children
in the Philippines. Virlanie cares for children in need of special protection—those who
are abandoned, abused, exploited, neglected, orphaned, and among the poorest of the
poor.

Child Hope aims to empower street children and their families and help them gain access to a more developmental and productive future.

Its banner program, The Street Education and Protection Program (STEP), believes in ‘education without borders’, where Alternative Education sessions make a difference in the lives of street children by giving them the opportunities for holistic development as well as the ability to learn to read and write. It provides for basic and urgent needs to support and ensure continuous learning and development which include psychosocial interventions, medical and health services, paralegal assistance and skills training among street children.

Childhope assists street children to develop the values they need so they can grow up to become caring, confident, responsible, and resilient members of society.

Gentle Hands is a welfare agency concerned with the rescue of at-risk children and youth.

They rehabilitate the medical, social, psychological, and educational needs of their clients, advocate for children’s rights, and work towards improving community life through the love of Jesus and family-centred care.

Through Jason’s Home and Home of Grace, Gentle Hands provides holistic and therapeutic residential home care services.

These include basic education, nutrition, and general health care for children in physical danger – severely ill, malnourished, abandoned, sexually and/or physically abused – or who are otherwise disadvantaged.

Additionally, we assist those in crisis situations resulting from poverty, an uncaring family environment and other issues, until such time as they can be reunited with their family, transferred to a long-term care facility, placed in foster care, or adopted.
