INTERNATIONAL FOREIGN LANGUAGES SCHOOL

IFLS is a community capacity building institution, providing affordable English language classes for young and adult Khmer students, and fostering the development of the district of Angkor Borei, in the Takeo province. The school is an important part of the community and is deeply valued by the children and their families.

IFLS was established in December of 2016 by Huy Kreng, whose goals are to help his community and facilitate an authentic cultural exchange between the students and foreign volunteers.

Friends of Koh Rong was established in 2012 with the aim of helping to create strong communities on the Cambodian islands through education and by promoting sustainable development.  NEW FUTURES ORGANIZATION

 

New Futures Organization operates a number of rural schools in remote villages surrounding Takeo township. These schools provide free education to children who are otherwise unable to attend regular classes. They also administer a drop-in centre which supports disadvantaged youth as well as engaging in a variety of projects which empower the whole community.
